Colin Malec is a financial advisor in our Lincolnshire, Illinois, and Chicago Loop offices, where he focuses on helping individuals and families build personalized wealth management and financial planning strategies. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, he partners closely with clients to align investments, tax strategies, and long-term planning with their goals.

Colin provides coordinated advice that helps clients navigate complex financial decisions and supports disciplined investing across market cycles. His approach centers on clear communication, practical guidance, and long-term planning tailored to retirement readiness, risk management, and cash flow needs. He values long-term relationships and strives to create an experience where clients feel informed and supported as they plan for the future.

He began his career with Savant as an intern in 2023 and returned full-time in 2024 after earning a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Active in the community, Colin serves on the young executive board for the Illinois Junior Golf Association, supporting initiatives that expand access to youth golf and leadership development opportunities. He lives in downtown Chicago and often spends time at Wrigley Field, on the golf course, or traveling with family and friends.
