Overview
Daryl Dagit serves as a lead advisor and financial advisor in our Peoria, Illinois, office, where he focuses on comprehensive financial planning for individuals, families, and organizations.
Daryl has more than 35 years of experience in financial planning and asset management, guiding clients through complex decisions tied to retirement planning, wealth transfer, philanthropy, tax planning, and insurance strategies. His work also includes retirement cash flow projections, retirement income structuring, debt management, and education funding planning.
Before joining Savant, Daryl spent 18 years with a national investment group, where he advanced into senior leadership roles. He served as a branch manager, regional training manager, and district manager, overseeing nine managers and 34 employees across Illinois. During that time, he earned multiple company awards recognizing his leadership and performance.
In addition to his advisory work, Daryl has shared his knowledge with adult learners by teaching estate planning classes through Bradley University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and at Illinois Central College.
Daryl remains actively involved in professional and community organizations. He serves on the Illinois State University College of Business Finance Advisory Board and is a board member of Concordia Planning Services, serving on its national board. He also serves as treasurer of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra Foundation and is a member of the Illinois State University Peoria Alumni Association. Professionally, he is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Estate Planning Council of Central Illinois, and the Financial Planning Association.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, a Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM (CRPS®), and a Certified Estate Planner™ (CEP®).
Daryl and his wife, Laura, have three children. He enjoys boating, golfing, gardening, woodworking, and sporting clay shooting.
