My goal is to help simplify clients' finances and help them feel free to enjoy life and use those financial resources for good.
David has been involved in the financial services industry since 2010. He was a financial advisor for Bridgeworth from 2014 until it joined with Savant in 2023. Prior to joining Bridgeworth, David worked for a national wealth management firm where he developed financial plans for high-net-worth families. David serves a wide range of clients but especially enjoys working with dentists, doctors, lawyers, executives, and high-net-worth families.
David earned a bachelor of business administration degree and a master of science degree in family financial planning, both from the University of Georgia. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a member of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama. He was recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal in 2016 as one of the Rising Stars in Money. In 2022, he received the University of Georgia Distinguished Financial Planning Alumni Award.
David serves on the board of the Railroad Park Foundation and is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Homewood-Mountain Brook. He is a founding member of the UGA Financial Planning Alumni Advisory Board. David and his wife Kara have three children and are active members of Christ Fellowship Church. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, running, visiting national parks, and spending time with his family.
