Jasen Wallace is a financial advisor at our Austin, Texas, office, where he focuses on equity compensation planning, retirement planning, and financial clarity for individuals and families. He began working at Savant in 2026 when Exencial Wealth Advisors joined the firm.
In this role, he works closely with executives and professionals navigating complex compensation packages, including non-qualified (NQSO) and incentive stock options (ISO), restricted stock units (RSU), employee stock purchase plans (ESPP), and deferred compensation plans (457) and defined contribution plans (401(k)s). He helps clients align these benefits with broader financial strategies designed to manage taxes, strengthen cash flow, and support long-term goals. His approach emphasizes clear decision-making and thoughtful planning so clients can move forward with confidence.
In addition to equity compensation planning, Jasen provides personalized retirement planning guidance. He helps clients evaluate Social Security strategies, pension options, and sustainable income sources to support both near- and long-term retirement goals. His work centers on creating financial clarity by aligning financial decisions with what matters most to each client.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Jasen held progressive roles at Weinheimer Wealth Management, advancing from paraplanner to director of financial planning, and later served as a wealth advisor at Exencial. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in finance from East Texas A&M University in Commerce and a Master of Science (MS) in personal financial planning from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
Jasen maintains strong ties to the Austin community. A former president of the Young Men’s Business League of Austin, he now serves on its fundraising committee. He also sat on the board and development committee of the Austin Sunshine Camps and on the career development committee for the Financial Planning Association of Austin, but remains a member of both. In addition, he serves as a BetterMan leader and member of the financial committee at Austin Oaks Church.
Away from client work, Jasen enjoys spending time with his wife, Brandi, and their daughter, Enora. He plays guitar, favors 1990s alternative and indie rock, and stays active through indoor rock climbing and mountain biking around Austin. He also has a passion for gardening, especially growing roses.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization's initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
