Jean Wilczynski is a financial advisor who works with individuals and families at our Old Lyme, Connecticut, office. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Jean is committed to helping clients navigate the intersections of life and finances through comprehensive, goals-based planning that emphasizes resilience, balance, and long-term stability. She began working at Savant in 2026 when Exencial Wealth Advisors became part of the firm.
A United States Coast Guard veteran, Jean brings a diverse professional background to her role in wealth management. Her experience includes financial management as well as investor and public relations work for both public and private companies. She has also held leadership roles in the nonprofit sector, including serving as a writer and communications director. She belongs to the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the Estate and Tax Planning Council of Eastern Connecticut.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematical science from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Jean lives in Old Lyme with her husband, Vince. They are active in the community, where Jean serves as chair of the finance council for Christ the King Church, chair of the Town of Old Lyme Pension Committee, treasurer of the Old Lyme Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library Board of Trustees, and is on the economic development committee for the Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments. She’s also a member of the Greater Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce and the Southeastern Connecticut Women’s Network. Jean and Vince have three adult sons and enjoy spending time biking, fishing, gardening, running, and traveling to visit family.
