Jeffrey B. Hibbeler

Jeffrey “Jeff” Hibbeler serves as a senior portfolio manager, focusing on fixed income investment strategies, in Huntersville, North Carolina. A Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®), he has more than three decades of industry experience, guiding high-net-worth and institutional clients while helping them pursue income-focused strategies, disciplined portfolio management, and long-term financial goals.

Jeff leads with a strong focus on investment-grade core fixed income and options strategies designed for clients with concentrated stock positions. He plays a key role in shaping portfolio strategy and helping clients navigate evolving market conditions while aligning investments to broader priorities, including cash flow needs, risk management, and wealth preservation.

He began working at Savant in 2026 when Exencial Wealth Advisors joined the firm. During his time with Exencial, he served as director of portfolio management and senior portfolio manager while working with clients directly.

Before joining Exencial in 2018, Jeff spent more than a decade at Columbia Threadneedle Investments as a portfolio manager on the core fixed income team. There, he managed portfolios for institutional and high-net-worth clients and provided a disciplined approach to risk-aware investing. Earlier in his career, he led institutional performance measurement efforts at Columbia Management, overseeing performance reporting and attribution analysis across investment platforms. Jeff began his career at Infovisa Inc., where he built a strong analytical foundation as a performance measurement service manager.

Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a finance emphasis from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, where he graduated with high distinction. He is also a member of the CFA Society North Carolina, reflecting his continued commitment to the profession and ongoing industry engagement.

Jeff and his wife, April, stay actively involved in the activities of their two daughters, Abby and Brooke. They’re also involved in their community through their church and support of the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson, North Carolina. He enjoys running, playing tennis, and traveling with his family.
