Jeff is a financial advisor in Savant’s Peoria, IL office. He draws upon 22 years of experience in education to break down and explain complex concepts to clients.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Jeff is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Jeff has been involved in the financial services industry since 2019. Prior to joining Savant, he was a financial advisor with two nationwide financial services companies. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Before transitioning to financial services, Jeff dedicated himself to music education. As a high school band director, he received the Sudler Shield Award from the John Philip Sousa Foundation, the highest international award for a high school marching band, awarded to a band that demonstrates world-class excellence for five consecutive years under the same director. His band won the Illinois state championship 14 years in a row and placed at nationals several times. Jeff is a member of the Phi Beta Mu International Bandmasters Fraternity and the Central Illinois Pickleball Club.
Jeff earned a bachelor of music education degree from Millikin University in Decatur, IL and a master of music education (MME) degree from Illinois State University.
Jeff and his wife Erin have five children. He enjoys travel, performing and conducting music, soccer, and pickleball.
