One of my first jobs was in Guest Relations at our local water park where I realized how much I enjoy helping people solve problems. I'm so happy to find a career where I can combine both that passion and my natural interest in financial planning. It's the best marriage I could ask for (outside of my own!).
Jeff is a lead and financial advisor in Savant’s Rockford, IL headquarters. He has a membership interest in Savant.
Jeff has a strong commitment to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of financial planning. With a deep understanding of investment strategies, risk management, and long-term wealth building, he strives to bring clarity and confidence to his clients’ financial journeys.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM (CRPS®), Jeff is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, education funding, and charitable planning.
Jeff has been involved in the financial services industry since 2015. Before becoming an advisor, he spent four years in both Savant’s investment research and financial planning departments where he worked alongside financial advisors to develop financial plans for clients.
In 2022, Jeff was recognized by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce as one of 40 Leaders Under Forty. He is frequently interviewed by local TV stations and has been quoted by both local and national publications, including The Financial Advisor Magazine, SmartAsset, Forbes, and the Rockford Register Star. From time to time, you will see him opening shows at the Coronado Performing Arts Center or Starlight Theatre in Rockford.
Jeff earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from Illinois State University, graduating with cum laude honors.
Jeff and his wife Mallory have two children, Everly and Easton. Outside of his professional life, he is an avid golfer and enjoys spending quality time with his family. He also finds joy in participating in competitive sports – not for the accolades but for the pure love of competition and the camaraderie it brings.

2022 Chamber of Commerce 40 Leaders Under Forty: This annual ranking published in June 2022 is based on awarding leaders chosen from various professional fields who have distinguished themselves in their professional field or organization. Candidates for Savant were nominated by employees of their organization. Savant is a member of the Chamber and pays an annual membership fee. Savant was not required to pay to participate or win. Candidates are not required to work for Chamber member organizations, preference is given to those who do.
