John has been involved in the financial services industry since 1977. He worked for Capital Directions from 2018 until it joined with Savant in 2023. After beginning his career in public accounting with a national accounting firm, John built two businesses – a CPA practice and financial planning practice, where he served hundreds of individuals and numerous business owners. He now concentrates on working with business owners and retirees.
John earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from Georgia State University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
John is blessed to have a wonderful wife, Susan, who is his partner in both life and business. He also finds enjoyment and satisfaction by being a part of his community, including the North Georgia Master Gardeners.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in the U.S., which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
