Justin Sell is an investment research analyst focused on long-term value creation, supporting our internally managed strategies from our Huntersville, North Carolina, office. He began working at Savant in 2026 when Exencial Wealth Advisors joined the firm.

Justin contributes to the firm’s investment process through fundamentally driven research, idea generation, and detailed company analysis. He evaluates businesses through the lens of shareholder returns and sustainable cash flow, blending qualitative insights with rigorous quantitative review to support portfolio manager decision-making.

Before joining Savant, Justin built his foundation in investment research at Exencial, where he advanced from investment analyst intern to full-time analyst after working closely with portfolio managers. His early professional experience also includes a financial analyst internship at Casella Waste Systems while attending college, where he gained hands-on exposure to corporate finance and day-to-day analytical responsibilities.

Justin earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and a minor in computer science from the University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is an active member of the CFA Society North Carolina.

An avid reader and endurance runner, Justin enjoys marathon training, skiing out West, and following the New York Giants. He also values time spent with his family during summers in Maine.
