Katie L. Kinson

Katie Kinson is a practice management analyst in Savant’s Rockford, Illinois, office. She helps support key stakeholders across the firm in advancing organic growth initiatives, strengthen advisor development programs, and scale business operations.

Katie has experience in operations, project coordination, process improvement, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Before joining Savant, she served as executive assistant to the president and CEO of Wesley Willows, a multimillion-dollar long-term healthcare organization. She later advanced to facility director, where she led operational strategy, monitored key performance indicators, supported financial and growth objectives, and managed a team of more than 40 employees while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Katie maintains a 4.0 GPA and expects to graduate in 2027. Her commitment to leadership and professional development earned her the Stateline Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Award in 2026¹. She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, with a minor in psychology, from Illinois State University.

Active in her community, Katie volunteers through Hope Evangelical Free Church in Roscoe, Illinois. She lives with her partner, Jesse, her son, Connor, her daughter, Riley, and their dog, Maggie. A former competitive dance and high school poms coach, she enjoys judging local dance tryouts and competitions. Katie and her family also enjoy camping, hiking, traveling, and baking.
