Overview
Kevin Mitchell is a financial advisor based in Savant’s Indianapolis office, where he focuses on helping individuals and families build and execute retirement strategies. With more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, Kevin works closely with clients to align long-term goals with thoughtful planning around employer-sponsored retirement plans, income strategies, and sustainable cash flow in retirement.
Before joining Savant in 2025, Kevin led public-sector retirement initiatives as program director for Nationwide’s Public Sector Retirement Plans teams. In that role, he oversaw governmental plans across Indiana, including the Hoosier START 457 Deferred Compensation plan. Earlier at Nationwide, Kevin supported plan participants throughout northern Indiana as a retirement specialist. He began his financial services career in 2009 with OneAmerica Financial.
Kevin is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Certified Retirement Counselor® (CRC®) designations. He earned both a bachelor’s degree in sports industry and business and a Master of Science (MS) in sports administration from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
A Carmel, Indiana, resident, Kevin and his wife, Danielle, are raising two children. He enjoys competitive golf and spends much of his free time coaching youth soccer, baseball, and basketball through the Carmel Dads’ Club.
