Kevin Hrdlicka serves as Savant’s head of wealth in our Rockford, Illinois, office, where he leads firmwide initiatives and partners closely with advisors to help elevate the value Savant seeks to provide across its 10 key planning areas. He works with both current advisors and professionals considering a career at Savant to help strengthen how the firm approaches fiduciary guidance and planning insights in support of long-term client relationships.
Kevin has worked in the financial services industry since 2007. During his time at Savant, he has led several areas of the firm, including investments, operations, human resources, facilities, compliance, and project management. His broad perspective helps advisors understand how planning decisions, investment strategy, and client service intersect to create thoughtful, sustainable alignment.
His interest in finance began early. As a child, he tracked stock quotes in the newspaper and watched market tickers scroll across the television after school. By eighth grade, he had already completed a career project on fee-only financial planning, which was long before the industry widely adopted that model. That early passion still drives his commitment to fiduciary advice.
One of the most defining moments of his career occurred during the 2007–2009 Great Recession while he worked in a trading role. As markets swung sharply, he helped rebalance portfolios by selling bonds and buying equities despite intense uncertainty. The experience reinforced the importance of discipline and long-term perspective, and these lessons he continues to share with advisors as they help clients navigate complex decisions.
Kevin is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and a minor in economics from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.
Kevin and his wife Patricia have four children and a very active puppy. He enjoys running, reading nonfiction, and traveling all over the world.
