Kevin M. Reed

Kevin Reed serves as a leader of advisor development, where he helps financial advisors and leaders strengthen business performance, leadership effectiveness, and practice management. Involved in the financial services industry since 2013, Kevin has a diverse background in advisor training, coaching, consulting, and leadership development.

Kevin began his career with Edward Jones, where he trained and coached more than 1,200 financial advisors on business development, client engagement, referral generation, and practice-building strategies. He later served as a senior coach, partnering with advisors, executives, and leadership teams on business performance, team development, client segmentation, leadership, and development initiatives. He also helped design and implement firmwide advisor development and practice management programs while working directly with advisor teams on business planning, business development, team structure, and succession planning.

In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Kevin has provided independent executive and leadership coaching since 2019, supporting financial professionals, senior leaders, and leadership teams across multiple industries.

Among his professional accomplishments, Kevin has trained and coached thousands of advisors and leaders, helped develop transition programs for military veterans entering advisor roles, created leadership development initiatives for regional leaders and senior managers, and contributed to the rollout of a standardized practice management consulting framework adopted across a large financial services organization.

Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Illinois College in Jacksonville and a Master of Arts in history from the University of Illinois Springfield. He also holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation and holds a teaching certificate.

Active in his community, Kevin volunteers with Saint Patrick Center and participates in the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis Men’s Club. He also supports the Saint Louis Zoo and maintains membership in the International Coaching Federation. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and drawing on lessons learned as a former baseball player.
