Lauren E. Gustafson

Lauren Gustafson is manager of accounting & business advisory in our Rockford, Illinois, Fincham office, where she provides tax, accounting, and consulting services to businesses and individuals.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Lauren began working at Savant in 2026 when Summit CPA joined the firm. She entered the public accounting industry in 1999 and helps mid-sized companies and individuals navigate financial reporting, tax planning, tax preparation, and business advisory needs. She focuses on providing practical guidance that supports informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and long-term financial goals.

Before joining Savant, Lauren served as a manager at Summit CPA and held leadership and audit roles at RSM, including Small Business Group manager and audit manager. She was also an audit in-charge at Miller Cooper & Company. Throughout her career, she has worked with clients across a variety of industries, helping them refine financial processes, evaluate performance, and manage complex tax considerations.

Lauren earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Illinois State University.

She remains active in her church and supports two nonprofit organizations. Lauren is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). When she’s not working with clients, Lauren enjoys hiking, reading, participating in church activities, attending her three sons’ events, and spending time with family and friends.
