Mason A. Cannefax

Mason Cannefax is an investment research analyst based in our Oklahoma City office, where he focuses on supporting advisors and portfolio managers with fixed income strategies. Mason began working at Savant in 2026 when Exencial Wealth Advisors joined the firm.

At Exencial, Mason worked closely with portfolio managers on account setup and client investment activity for the firm’s fixed income separately managed accounts (SMAs). He managed a high-volume database queue, addressing client requests such as withdrawals and account closures, and supported advisors with prospect proposals, performance reporting, trade ledger maintenance, and detailed investment analysis. His work also included preparing holdings reports and assisting with retirement plan recommendations, including 401(k) analysis.

Before joining Exencial, Mason served as an associate underwriter at National American Insurance Company, where he developed a strong foundation in risk analysis and financial evaluation.

Mason earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond. He enjoys cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder, playing recreational volleyball and pickleball with friends, and staying active in his local church.
