Matthew “Matt” Weinheimer is a lead advisor and financial advisor at our Austin, Texas, office. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, he serves retirees, individuals with complex wealth needs, and business owners preparing for a sale. He began working at Savant in 2026 when Exencial Wealth Advisors joined the firm.

With more than 25 years of experience in the wealth management industry, Matt brings a long-standing perspective and steady leadership to clients navigating pivotal financial decisions. He began his career in financial services in 1997 and went on to found Weinheimer Wealth Management, where he built and led a team of five CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professionals. In 2024, he joined Exencial and became partner and senior wealth manager. Throughout his career, Matt has focused on helping clients align investment strategy, cash flow, and long-term planning with their personal and professional goals.

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University.

Away from work, Matt values time with family and the outdoors. He and his wife, Contessa, a travel advisor, share a passion for travel. Matt also enjoys river rafting, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, and spending time at his family’s ranch. They have two sons: Gavin, a recent Embry-Riddle graduate and U.S. Navy officer headed to Pensacola for flight training, and Logan, who is studying mechanical engineering at Texas Tech University. With eight siblings, family gatherings are always part of the calendar.
