Patrick Smith is a financial advisor out of our Guilford, Connecticut, office. A Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®), he focuses on financial planning and portfolio management, helping clients align long-term goals with disciplined investment strategies. He started working at Savant in 2026 when Exencial Wealth Advisors joined the firm.

Patrick has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Savant, he served as a senior wealth advisor at Exencial from 2023 to 2026. He spent more than two decades as a partner at Shoreline Financial Advisors and previously held senior leadership and portfolio management roles at Pioneer Investments, Loomis Sayles, and Putnam Investments. His background spans wealth management, institutional investing, and portfolio construction.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science in finance from Boston College. In his personal time, Patrick enjoys hiking, biking, and boating.
