Paul Higgins serves as a financial advisor in Savant’s Westwood, Massachusetts office. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, he focuses on helping individuals and families pursue long-term financial well-being through comprehensive planning and a disciplined investment approach. He is also an Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM (AWMA®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and is Certified in Long-Term Care® (CLTC®).

Paul joined Savant in 2026 when Heritage Financial partnered with the firm. Before that transition, he built a decades-long career in financial services. Prior to Heritage, Paul spent 12 years as a vice president and shareholder at Highland Capital Brokerage. There, he delivered financial planning, estate planning, and business succession strategies for clients of broker-dealers, RIAs, and banks.

He began working at Heritage in 2017 as a wealth manager and became a senior wealth manager in 2021. Paul focuses on creating enduring relationships and designing financial plans that support his clients’ goals at every stage of life.

His interest in finance began early. While earning his bachelor’s degree in finance from Boston College, Paul worked part-time at Bear Stearns, where he gained experience in the stock market and securities trading. He later completed the one-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Babson College in Wellesley. His entrepreneurial streak also surfaced during his college years, when he played guitar in a band and helped launch a record distribution venture.

Paul stays active in the financial planning community as a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council, having volunteered on its Membership Committee and Member Involvement Committee, and is on the Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council.  He also served as a governor for the Milton-Hoosic Club and is a member of the Finance and Investment Committee for Ursuline Academy.

He and his wife, Rachel, have two children, Lilly and Jack, who attended Paul’s alma maters Boston College and Milton Academy, respectively. The family enjoys traveling throughout North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe, with Bermuda being a favorite destination. Paul is an avid Boston sports fan and spends his time outside work enjoying music, golf, skiing in the West, and relaxing at the beach. Paul and Rachel became residents of Florida in 2026 and split time between Jupiter, Florida, and Dedham, Massachusetts.
