Peter J. Dorsey

Peter “Pete” Dorsey is a Fortune 500 and fintech executive leader with a 30-year track record of leading teams and individuals to execute large strategic initiatives. Most recently, Pete served as executive vice president for LPL Financial in San Diego, where he led the firm’s Financial Institution channel. In that role, he oversaw a business generating more than $1 billion in revenue, supporting 7,800 advisors, and managing nearly $150 billion in assets.

Before joining LPL Financial, Pete served as chief strategy and revenue officer at Altruist in Los Angeles. He directed the firm’s go-to-market strategy and led revenue and profitability initiatives across marketing, product management, and distribution. He also spent 15 years with TD Ameritrade Institutional in San Diego, where he held senior leadership positions in sales, client management, operations, client service, trading, fixed income, and risk management.

Pete earned a bachelor’s degree in applied economics from St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
