Rick is a financial advisor in Savant’s Rockford, IL headquarters. He has a membership interest in Savant.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Certified Retirement Plan SpecialistSM (CRPS®), Rick is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
In addition, Rick received his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF®) designation after completing several courses on personal planning, business continuation, deferred compensation, and retirement planning. He continued his education through the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA, where he earned his Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation.
Rick has been involved in the financial services industry since 1992. Prior to joining Savant, he spent his entire career assisting individuals and businesses with the protection and growth of their assets. He served as vice president in the Institutional Trust and Custody Department of a major bank, where he worked with investment management and retirement plan services.
Rick earned a bachelor of science degree in sports management with a minor in business administration from The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Rick has served the community in many capacities within the YMCA, Janesville Youth Baseball, and CYO Basketball. He enjoys sports, physical fitness, outdoor activities, and traveling with his family.
