Ryan is a financial advisor and team lead in Savant’s Rockford, IL headquarters. He has a membership interest in Savant.
Ryan specializes in early retirement strategies for individuals retiring prior to age 65. This includes creating tax-efficient cash flow strategies that help minimize adjusted gross income so that individuals can qualify for health insurance subsidies. Ryan also specializes in creating customized Social Security claiming strategies.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Ryan is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Ryan has been involved in the financial services industry since 2006. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, he served as a member of Savant’s Planning Team, where he was the liaison to Savant advisors to help produce investment analyses, prepare and present client financial plans, and coordinate plan implementation. He specialized in all areas of financial planning, including goal documentation, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, education funding, income tax strategies, and estate and philanthropy optimization techniques.
Ryan serves as the treasurer on the board of the Rockford Public Library Foundation. He completed the Rockford Chamber of Commerce Leadership Rockford program and in 2019 was recognized by the Rockford Chamber as one of “40 Leaders Under Forty.”
Ryan earned a bachelor of science degree in finance with a minor in economics from Northern Illinois University.
Ryan and his wife Bridget have three children and live in Roscoe, IL. They enjoy spending time at their children’s activities, including baseball, football, basketball, theater, and dance. When they are not coaching their children’s activities, they enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling the country, and entertaining family and friends in their 60’s-era basement bar.
