Scott D. Michael

Scott is a financial advisor in our York and Hanover offices in Pennsylvania, where he supports individuals and families through comprehensive financial planning. He especially enjoys guiding clients as they transition from their professional careers into retirement. Over the years, he’s worked closely with business owners and retirement plan committees to help businesses and organizations with plan design, investment oversight, and their fiduciary responsibilities. Scott brings significant experience working with plan professionals, including recordkeepers and third-party administrators.

Scott has worked in the financial services industry for more than 30 years. Before Domani Wealth joined Savant in 2023, Scott served as its partner, senior wealth advisor, and chief compliance officer. To keep him connected with others in the industry, he actively participates in the Financial Planning Association and the Financial Planning Association of Central Pennsylvania. His community involvement includes serving on the board and Finance Committee for the Farm & Natural Lands Trust of York County and contributing as a member of the Red Lion Area Educational Foundation. Scott also serves as vice chair of the York County Estate Planning Council Steering Committee. In 2025, the Central Penn Business Journal named him to the Banking, Finance, Accounting, and Wealth Management Power List¹.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), Scott helps clients with wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.

Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Millersville University in Pennsylvania. He enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hunting, shooting, and landscaping work. He and his wife, Angel, have two daughters and four grandchildren, and he often spends time outside listening to music with his German short-haired pointer, Bristol, at his side.
