Overview
Scott Demler serves as a financial advisor in Savant’s Rockford, Illinois, office, where he focuses on comprehensive financial planning for individuals and families. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM (CRPS®), he guides clients through wealth transfer strategies, philanthropy planning, income and estate tax planning, retirement cash‑flow projections, retirement income strategies, insurance evaluations, debt management, and education funding. He serves as a mentor, getting new advisors up to speed, and travels to job fairs at colleges to encourage students to apply for internships and full-time employment at Savant.
Scott has worked as a financial advisor since 2007 and came to Savant after building a career in sales, marketing, and financial services. He takes pride in helping people pursue financial clarity and confidence in their financial lives.
In the Rockford community, Scott is a volunteer educator for the Center for Learning in Retirement and Adult Learning at Rock Valley College and graduated from the Leadership Rockford program. He stays active in several local networking groups and is a member of St. Bridget’s Church.
Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time outside. He spent many years helping young people learn to water ski and participated in the Ski Bronc water ski show team.
