Tara Ingram, a financial advisor in our Birmingham, Alabama, office, helps clients navigate complex financial decisions with a focus on comprehensive planning strategies that support long-term goals.
Tara joined the financial services industry in 2020 at Bridgeworth, where she worked closely with individuals and families on a wide range of wealth management and financial planning needs. Following Bridgeworth joining Savant in 2023, she has continued to help her clients navigate important financial decisions through personalized, goal-based planning and ongoing guidance.
Outside of her work with clients, Tara is passionate about serving her community and helping advance the financial planning profession. She serves as treasurer for the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama and is the new member and onboarding chair for the Rotaract Club of Birmingham. She is also actively involved with the Ballet Guild of Birmingham.
Her leadership and community engagement earned her recognition in 2023 as a NextGen in Money honoree by the Birmingham Business Journal1. The award highlights emerging leaders who demonstrate strong contributions to their organizations, leadership potential, and meaningful community involvement.
Tara earned both a bachelor’s degree in consumer sciences with a concentration in consumer affairs and a Master of Science (MS) in financial planning from the University of Alabama.
A Birmingham native, Tara lives in Mountain Brook with her husband, Wayne, their daughter, and their Labrador retriever. When she’s not meeting with clients, you’ll find her exploring Birmingham’s restaurant scene, reading her next book club selection, taking neighborhood walks with her family, or gathering friends and family around the table. She and her family are active members of Mountain Brook Baptist Church.

1 2023 NextGen BHM: Money honors the next generation of leaders in the accounting, banking, finance, and wealth management industries in Birmingham. The awards, presented by the Birmingham Business Journal, honor individuals 30 or younger who are already making waves in the industry. Honorees are selected based on their contributions to their companies, their role in the industry, the likelihood of them becoming a key leader in the field, and their role in the community. Honorees are chosen through an independent editorial review, with selections based entirely on their merits, achievements and contributions to their organizations and local community.
