Since I was a young adult, I have had a passion for helping others. As an independent advisor and planner, we are in a unique position to impact one of the most important elements of one’s life. Being part of those relationships and seeing clients work toward their goals over time is something I find extremely rewarding.
Tracy Beard is a financial advisor in our Rockford, Illinois office, where he focuses on comprehensive financial planning and client education. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), Tracy guides individuals and families through wealth transfer strategies, philanthropy planning, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash‑flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance analysis, debt management, and education funding.
Tracy has worked in the financial services industry for more than 25 years. Before joining Savant, he helped organizations develop, install, and maintain employee benefit programs.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics/finance from Rockford University and a master of science (MS) degree in financial services from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Tracy and his wife have two children. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, hiking, camping, and discovering new places that bring his family closer to nature. He also loves cooking and finds joy in smoking meats and crafting wood-fired pizzas during the summer months.
