Overview
David Gruber serves as a financial advisor in Savant’s Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, Iowa, offices, where he helps families and businesses navigate financial decisions that support their long-term goals.
He began his career with World Trend Financial in 2015 and continued serving clients there until the firm joined Savant in 2022. David earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Science (MS) in sports management from American Public University in Charles Town, West Virginia.
Before entering the financial profession, David spent 11 years overseas, primarily in Australia, where he played professional basketball. His experience competing at a high level shaped his belief in preparation, discipline, and teamwork, principles he now brings to his work as a retirement coach and wealth advisor. David and his wife, Kara, live in Solon, Iowa, with their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his active family and the outdoors.
