Overview

Drake Grindle serves as a financial advisor in Savant’s Rockford, Illinois, office. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), he guides individuals and families through comprehensive financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, debt management, education funding, and preparing business owners for succession planning.

Drake entered the financial services field in 2015 after beginning his career as a senior assurance associate at a public accounting firm, where he performed financial statement audits across multiple industries.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). In the community, Drake serves on the board of Rock House Kids, a Christ-centered safe haven supporting children in Rockford’s inner city. He graduated from Leadership Rockford in 2019 and returned as a moderator for the 2020 class. The Rockford Chamber recognized him in 2022 as one of its 40 Leaders Under Forty1.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and a Master of Accounting Science (MAS) from the University of Illinois.

Drake and his wife, Danielle, live in Rockford with their daughter, Delilah, and son, Dane. He enjoys boating on the Rock River and Lake Redstone, fishing, gardening, traveling, and playing softball.
