I view myself as a behavioral coach. My mission is to guide clients away from behavioral traps that cause headaches and setbacks and can derail their plan. By asking the right questions and developing a personal connection, my goal is to create a true partnership with my clients.
Edward “Ed” Cruickshank serves as a lead advisor and financial advisor in Savant’s Lincolnshire, Illinois, office. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, he helps individuals and families navigate financial planning with a focus on wealth transfer, philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income strategies, insurance assessments, debt management, and education funding.
Ed joined Savant through the firm’s combination with Huber Financial Advisors in 2020 after building his career there beginning in 2004. He contributes his time to the community as a board member of The Farther Foundation and as a member of the board of trustees at his church.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations from the University of Kansas. He lives in the northwest suburbs of Chicago with his wife, Stephanie, and they have one daughter, Celeste. He enjoys golf, swimming, and traveling.
