Joseph “Joe” Waters, Jr. serves as a financial advisor in Savant’s Woburn, Massachusetts, office, where he focuses on guiding individuals and families through personalized financial planning and long‑term relationship building. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Joe is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.

He launched his career by building his own practice with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. In 2013, his commitment to serving in a fiduciary capacity led him to work at Heritage Financial, where he helped develop lasting client relationships and introduced prospective clients to the firm’s three‑meeting process. He started working at Savant in 2026 when Heritage joined the firm.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance along with a Master of Science (MS) in personal financial planning from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Joe enjoys golf, movies, and traveling with his family. Their favorite trips include the Winter Olympics and Super Bowl XLIX.  He also remains active in his church community and follows Boston sports with enthusiasm.
