Marion S. Momaly

Marion Momaly is a manager of accounting & business advisory in Savant’s Rockford, Illinois, Fincham office. Marion provides small business tax planning, compliance, and consulting services. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), she also works with individuals at every stage of life to help them with their taxes. Her background includes tax research and problem-solving for unique and complex situations.

Involved in the small business compliance, tax, and consulting industry since 1994, Marion owned her own accounting practice from 2015 to 2024. Earlier in her career, she served as a tax manager at CliftonLarsonAllen for eight years and at Lindgren Callihan Van Osdol for nine years. She also served as a senior tax manager for Summit CPA Group and began working at Savant in 2026 when Summit joined the firm.

Throughout her career, Marion has shared her knowledge through presentations for local organizations on tax law changes, updates, and planning strategies. A QuickBooks user since 1997, she has also written numerous articles focused on practical applications for small business owners and client newsletters.

Marion earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rockford University and a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Rockford Network of Professional Women. Marion also served for 18 years as treasurer of The ARC of Winnebago, Boone, and Ogle Counties. In her free time, Marion enjoys cooking, reading, swimming, and walking her two large dogs.
