Martin is a financial advisor in Savant’s Chicago Northcenter office. He is especially interested in the quality of presence and listening in the advisor/client relationship.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Martin is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Martin has been involved in the financial services industry since 2013. Prior to joining Savant, he was an advisor for two large wealth management firms. He has helped several large nonprofit organizations raise funds for their public programs.
Martin serves as a director-at-large on the board of Windy City Performing Arts, one of the nation’s foremost community-based choral ensembles that sings to inspire change, celebrate diversity, and honor the dignity of the LBGTQ+ community. As long-time residents of Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood, Martin, his wife Eileen, and their two children are always looking for ways to promote community through the arts.
Martin earned a bachelor of applied arts degree in sculpture from San Diego State University and a master of arts (MA) degree in art therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is fluent in French.
