Michael Briscoe is a financial advisor based in Savant’s Freeport, Illinois, office, where he focuses on serving young families, farmers, business owners, and clients with legacy planning needs throughout Freeport and the surrounding areas.
Michael partners closely with clients to create goal-driven financial plans that address today’s priorities while supporting long-term aspirations. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, he provides comprehensive financial planning guidance, including wealth transfer and philanthropy strategies, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analysis, debt management, and education funding strategies.
Before joining Savant, Michael worked as a financial representative at a nationally branded financial and insurance services firm. He brings a disciplined, relationship-focused approach to his work and helps clients navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence.
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dubuque in Iowa, where he played quarterback on the football team. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from Concordia University Chicago.
He actively supports his local community as a board member of the Sauk Valley Community College Foundation and as a member of Pearl City Lions International. Michael and his wife, Korissa, have two daughters, Karrigan and Landrey. He enjoys spending time with his family, relaxing by the pool, golfing, and watching sports.
