Overview
Rachel McCaw-Navin is a wealth transfer advisor based in our Westwood, Massachusetts, office, where she focuses on estate planning strategies for individuals and families with a wide range of planning needs.
Rachel advises clients on matters ranging from foundational estate plans to elder law and long-term care considerations, as well as sophisticated planning designed to address complex estate and gift tax concerns. She also works closely with executors and trustees during probate and trust administration, offering practical guidance to help families navigate these responsibilities efficiently and thoughtfully.
Before joining Savant, Rachel built her legal career in private practice. She began her work in estate planning at Gosselin & Kyriakidis, where she focused on estate planning and elder law matters. She later joined Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP as senior counsel, expanding her work with high-net-worth individuals and families facing advanced planning challenges.
Rachel is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Her legal background allows her to collaborate effectively with clients and their advisory teams to support coordinated wealth transfer and legacy planning.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she majored in legal studies with minors in psychology and political science. Rachel earned a Juris Doctor (JD) from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island.
Rachel maintains active involvement in her professional and local communities. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Rhode Island Bar Association and participates in activities at the Bristol Yacht Club.
Rachel and her husband, Paul, have a young son, Bennett. When family time allows, she enjoys skiing, reading, and sailing.
