Overview
Richard is a senior managing partner and financial advisor in Savant’s Atlanta, GA office. He has a membership interest in Savant.
Richard helps business owners, senior-level executives, and other high-net-worth individuals navigate investment decisions, estate planning, retirement planning, and charitable gift strategies.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Richard is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Richard has been involved in the financial services industry since 2006. He served as a wealth advisor and director of financial planning for Capital Directions until it partnered with Savant in 2023.
Richard earned a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in economics from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN.
Richard and his family are members of Trinity Presbyterian Church where he sits on the Investment Committee which reports to the church trustees. He previously served on the Session, a body of elected lay leaders, and was chair of the church’s Finance Committee. He also served on the board of Trinity Early Learning Center.
