Stephen Heitz serves as managing partner and financial advisor in our Louisville, Kentucky, office, where he focuses on complex financial transitions for individuals and business owners.

Stephen helps clients navigate pivotal life and business milestones, including business succession planning, retirement strategies, aging care solutions, wealth transfer, and philanthropic planning. He works closely with clients to align financial decisions with their values and long-term goals, emphasizing practical, forward-looking guidance that supports sustainable outcomes.

With more than two decades in the financial services industry, Stephen brings deep experience to each client relationship. He co-founded Sortino Advisory Partners, where he led family wealth and retirement plan consulting before the firm joined Savant in 2024.

Stephen holds an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation, is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®), and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist^SM (CRPS®). These credentials support his work with business owners and families managing transitions, governance, and long-term financial planning.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics, with minors in math and business administration, from Bellarmine University in Louisville.

Stephen enjoys traveling with his wife and three children. He is an avid cyclist, scuba diver, and skier.
