Timothy’s Approach
Timothy D. Winn
CFP®
Lead Advisor / Financial Advisor
Overview
Lead advisor and financial advisor Timothy “Tim” Winn serves clients from Savant’s Westwood, Massachusetts, office. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, he is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Tim grew up in Sutton, where sports defined much of his early life. He played basketball and baseball, but soccer ultimately shaped his path. While earning a bachelor’s degree in business management and finance at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, he captained the men’s soccer team and earned All-American honors. A connection made through his soccer coach led him to The Dover Group, also in Wellesley, and this meeting quickly opened the door to his first role in the financial industry in 2010.
He spent four years at The Dover Group learning the mechanics of financial planning and client service. In 2014, looking to expand his investment knowledge and work more closely with markets, Tim joined Heritage Financial as a paraplanner. He eventually became a wealth advisor and then a senior advisor and wealth management supervisor. He started working at Savant in 2026 when Heritage joined the firm.
When not in the office, Tim stays active in sports and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
