Joel is a financial advisor in Savant’s Middleton, WI office on the University Wealth Management team.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Joel is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Joel has been involved in the financial services industry since 2011. Prior to joining Savant, he was a financial advisor for a registered investment advisory firm in the Madison market.
Joel is a member of the Waunakee, WI Chamber of Commerce and serves on the investment committee of St. John the Baptist Church of Waunakee. He participates in the Herb Brooks Foundation, an organization dedicated to help grow the sport of hockey.
Joel earned a bachelor of arts degree in finance from Augsburg University in Minneapolis. As a senior there, he was named to the Division III All-America hockey team.
Joel is married to Brittni, a pediatric nurse, and has two daughters, Sophie and Charlotte. He enjoys traveling with his family, exercising, and baking with his girls.
