Manager of Financial Planning
Megan Harris is manager of financial planning, based in our Middleton, Wisconsin, office, where she supports advisors and clients with comprehensive financial planning strategies. She focuses on helping individuals and families make informed decisions across every stage of life through thoughtful, goal-driven planning.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®), and Certified Estate Planner® (CEP) professional, Megan works across all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding. She brings a collaborative approach to planning, aligning financial strategies with each client’s long-term goals and priorities.
Before joining Savant, Megan served as a financial planning manager at the Seattle branch of a nationwide wealth advisory firm, where she led planning teams and supported complex client needs. She values mentorship and teamwork and plays an active role in developing planning professionals within the firm.
Megan earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She remains deeply involved in her community as a volunteer with WayForward Resources, a local food pantry, and as a downhill ski race coach for the Middleton High School boys’ team. Megan is married and has two young sons and two dogs, and her family stays busy with indoor and outdoor sports throughout the year.
