Theresa is passionate about teaching and encouraging people to become active partners in their financial life. In addition to her work with the Women’s Wealth Initiative, she teaches classes and seminars that focus on senior education, including tax issues, estate planning, preparing for life’s changing events, protecting yourself from financial abuse, and planning for lifelong care.
Theresa and her husband John have two sons. She was born and raised in Rockford and enjoys volunteering, entertaining friends, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family. She enjoys vacationing in Northern Wisconsin and spending time on the lake. She also enjoys Florida’s gulf coast and looks forward to spending more time there, visiting family and friends. She loves dogs and hopes to train her new dog, Champ, to be a comfort, companion dog as he matures.
When I was in college, my dad passed away from a sudden heart attack. I saw what an unexpected event could do to a family. It was then that I decided to become a financial advisor. Being at Savant allows me to provide sound financial advice, proven solutions and planning strategies, all done with the goal of increasing clarity, focus and most importantly, peace of mind.
