Patricia “Patty” Hutchinson serves as director of Retirement Plan Services in our Rockford, Illinois, office, where she leads strategy and growth efforts for retirement plan solutions.
Involved in the financial services industry since 2006, Patty oversees initiatives that strengthen relationships with advisors, provider partners, and industry specialists. She focuses on team development, coaching, and the execution of sales and service growth plans, supporting a consistent experience for clients and stakeholders.
An Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), Patty brings a well-rounded background across retirement plan services, including a decade at a Fortune 500 financial services organization in several leadership roles. Her experience spans inside sales, marketing, national accounts, and client services, giving her a broad perspective on building scalable, client-centered programs.
Patty completed the Defining Leadership program through the Institute for Career Advancement Needs and the Women in Leadership Engagement Program through Rockford University, where she also serves on the advisory council. These achievements reflect her commitment to continuous professional development. She is a member of Rotary in Valentine, Nebraska, and also sits on the board of the Valentine, Nebraska TeamMates chapter and mentors a high school sophomore.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Colorado Technical University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
A native of South Dakota, Patty and her husband, Ryan, have two children, Ashlyn and Aiden, and a boxer named Rizzo. She enjoys following her son’s sporting activities, including basketball and golf, reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors, whether playing golf or at the family ranch. She is also looking forward to supporting her daughter as she begins her college journey.
