OCKFORD, Ill. (Sep. 15, 2026) – Savant Tax & Consulting, a wholly owned subsidiary of Savant Wealth Management, has changed its name to Savant Accounting & Business Advisory (SABA), reflecting the firm’s continued evolution into a broader provider of accounting, advisory, consulting, and tax services for businesses, business owners, individuals, and families.

The new name aligns with a growth strategy Savant has pursued for more than two decades as it has expanded its accounting and advisory capabilities through the addition of specialized talent, services, and firms. Today, SABA includes more than 140 accounting, tax, and advisory professionals who help clients address complex financial and business challenges through integrated planning and advice.

“Over the past two decades, we have intentionally built an organization that is designed to extend beyond traditional tax preparation,” said Brent Brodeski, CFP®, CPA, CFA®, MBA, founder and CEO of Savant. “While tax remains a foundational part of what we do, our professionals also provide accounting, business advisory, consulting, payroll, and other specialized services that help clients navigate important decisions. Our new name better reflects the breadth of expertise our team brings to clients every day.”

The name change follows years of strategic expansion that have helped strengthen Savant’s ability to serve privately held businesses, business owners, healthcare practices, families, and individuals. As a result of our growth, Savant has been named No. 1 on Accounting Today’s Billion-Dollar Wealth Magnets list for four consecutive years1

Melissa Orlando, EA, Head of Savant Accounting & Business Advisory, said the firm’s new identity more accurately represents the comprehensive nature of the services clients receive. “Tax planning and preparation remain core components of our offering and an important part of the advice we provide,” Orlando said. “At the same time, our clients may look to us for accounting support, business advisory services, payroll solutions, practice consulting, and other specialized guidance, including succession planning for business owners. The SABA name better reflects how we serve clients today and where we see opportunities to help them in the future.”

The announcement coincides with the continued expansion of the SABA team through partnerships with Professional Business Management, Inc. (PBM) of Barrington, Illinois, and Summit CPA Group of Rockford, Illinois. The partnerships closed Aug. 31, 2026, and help further strengthen Savant’s capabilities in healthcare practice consulting, accounting, tax, and business advisory services.

“These partnerships help demonstrate our long-term commitment to building one of the nation’s leading accounting, tax, and advisory organizations,” Brodeski said. “By bringing together talented professionals with specialized expertise, our goal is to continue expanding the resources available to clients while preserving the personalized relationships they value.”
