Scott founded Baril Advisors, LLC in 2006 and served as its president until it joined with Savant in 2022. Prior to Baril Advisors, Scott’s career was balanced between managerial roles in small business and providing professional services at CPA firms.
Scott earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Drake University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential, issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Scott enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family.
