Chip Kalousek

As a senior member of the investment research team, Chip leads the team’s investment content creation and strategic initiatives while actively engaging clients to provide tailored investment guidance and support. He is passionate about developing deep relationships with clients and understanding their unique financial needs and goals. His goal is to help educate and simplify complex investing topics in a way that helps empower individuals to make informed decisions.

Chip has been involved in the financial services industry since 2014. He was the director of portfolio management for Bridgeworth from 2021 until it joined with Savant in 2023 and has a broad background in fiduciary asset management with expertise spanning investment policy, risk-based portfolio construction, trading execution, manager due diligence, and portfolio implementation. Prior to joining Bridgeworth, Chip was a senior portfolio strategist at a major financial institution, where he oversaw the administration and management of over $1 billion in portfolio assets.

Chip earned a bachelor of science degree in finance with a concentration in investments and institutions from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder and an active member of the CFA Society of Alabama.

Outside of work, Chip is committed to community involvement and serves as chair of the Junior Achievement of Alabama Junior Board and as finance chair of One Roof. He and his wife Michelle have a daughter, Josephine, and together they enjoy travel, live music, and outdoor activities.
