Kelli M. Peterson

Kelli is a manager of Savant Tax & Consulting in our Rockford, IL headquarters. She has a membership interest in Savant.

Kelli is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and has attained the Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA) designation from the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation.

Kelli has been involved in the financial and tax services industry since 2011. Prior to joining Savant, she worked at an international food service supplier where her responsibilities included corporate tax strategy, planning and compliance, along with implementation of new software systems for increased efficiencies.

Kelli is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She volunteers in the community when she can, helping those in need through local food pantries, homeless shelters, and domestic violence shelters.

Kelli earned both a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting and a master of professional accountancy (MPA) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

In her spare time, Kelli enjoys playing a variety of strategy board games – Settlers of Catan, Space Base, and Race for the Galaxy – and finds that cooking for family and friends as well as being outdoors are great ways to relax. Reading a good book on her patio is a favorite Saturday morning activity.
