Ramey has been involved in the financial services industry since 2008. She served as a partner and director of communication for AMDG Financial from 2018 until it joined with Savant in 2021. Prior to joining AMDG Financial, Ramey was owner and principal of msgwrks ltd., a communication consulting firm serving the financial services and residential real estate industries. Before that, she was director of communication for Financial Planning Standards Board, Ltd., the global professional standards-setting organization for the financial planning profession and owner of the CFP certification program outside the U.S.
Ramey earned a bachelor of arts degree in mass communication with an emphasis in media production from Florida State University and a master of special studies in applied communication from the University of Denver. She also earned a certificate in change leadership from Cornell University.
Ramey and her husband, Bill Masure, a photojournalist, have lived in Colorado for more than 30 years and enjoy hiking, exploring the state’s picturesque landscapes and photographing wildlife, visiting local farmer’s markets, and cooking regional dishes. They are “servants” to two spoiled cats – Cara, a rescued American Curl, and Oz, a purebred Egyptian Mau.
